Both Valencia and Sevilla are showing interest in Marseille’s Brazilian central defender Doria, according to L’Equipe.
The 20-year-old [pictured, left] joined the Ligue 1 outfit from Botafogo for a reported €5m but has yet to make his full debut, with boss Marcelo Bielsa having sat him on the substitutes’ bench six times.
The report claims Bielsa was not consulted by club bosses over Doria’s arrival and has subsequently kept him on the fringes of first-team action, a situation that will not deter the two La Liga giants come the January transfer window.
However, neither club would be willing to pay a transfer fee for the player just yet and will try to lure him to Spain with a loan deal until the end of the 2014-15 campaign.
