Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is being linked with Atletico Madrid and a possible return to La Liga.
According to Marca, the former Villarreal and Malaga player is contemplating leaving the Gunners after becoming disillusioned on missing out on honours under boss Arsene Wenger, and is consequently eyeing a move to Atleti.
The recent large investments made by the Premier League outfit, who have spent heavily on Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, is not having the desired effect and Wenger could be looking to make changes to his squad.
However, despite Cazorla having a contract at the Emirates Stadium until June 2016, he is prepared to wait and see if Los Rojiblancos are interested enough to make an offer for him at the end of the season.
