Munoz ‘happiest person in world’

Youngster Javi Munoz declared himself the happiest person in the world on making his Real Madrid debut in the 5-0 win over Cornella.

The academy player came on to replace James Rodriguez in the Copa del Rey clash and is hoping he gets more opportunities to show boss Carlo Ancelotti his worth.

“I'm the happiest person in the world and very happy to have made my debut for Real Madrid,” he told the club’s official website.

“It makes me feel really proud and I'll keep on working hard to get more chances. I hope to play again many more times.
“I've had my shirt signed by all my teammates. Also, [Fernando] Hierro gave me the match ball.

“They told me to be relaxed, although to begin with I felt nervous. It's very easy to play with these teammates. It’s as if I've been playing with them my whole life," he commented.
