Ricardo Carvalho has acclaimed his former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo as someone who is so good he cannot improve.
Carvalho, now playing in France with Monaco, also says his international colleague is almost perfect and should win the Ballon d’Or.
“It’s difficult to see how he can improve because when you see him he’s almost perfect,” said Carvalho, as reported by Real Madrid News.
“He’s strong, good in the air, and is always fit. It’s hard to say what he’s missing. I think he’s the best.
“For us Portuguese, everyone is expecting him to win a third Ballon d’Or. We are so proud of him.
“He has done a great job over the past six or seven years. He is getting better at improving the small details, making so many goals.
“He always wants more, even in training. Maybe next he will break his own records as he’s always trying to do his best,” explained Carvalho.
