Barcelona defender Gerard Pique is seeking showdown talks with boss Luis Enrique over his future at the club.
The Spain international has fallen out of favour in recent weeks and been consigned to a role on the substitutes’ bench, a situation that he wants to clarify after he returns from international duty.
According to the Daily Mirror, the 27-year-old, who has a contract until 2019, is considering leaving Barca if things do not change soon, which the Catalans would not welcome as they have a transfer ban in place until January 2016.
However, the newspaper claims there will be no shortage of suitors for Pique, with Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United just three of the clubs that are waiting to pounce should they receive any encouragement.
