Barcelona will be without Jeremy Mathieu for a few weeks and Jordi Alba could be set to join him on the sidelines.
Marca reports Mathieu has injured his calf muscle and will need a few weeks to recover, forcing the defender out of games against Ajax in the Champions League and Almeria in the League for sure, and potentially the visit of Sevilla to Camp Nou.
The same publication reveals Alba underwent an MRI scan on Sunday but the results aren’t yet known and nor is the problem the procedure was intended to investigate.
