Arrasate: La Real ‘unfortunate’

Jagoba Arrasate suggested Real Sociedad were ‘unfortunate’ to draw with Cordoba and said the result is a symptom of the team’s poor form.

Reports in Spain suggested on Friday that Arrasate would leave his post if the Basques were beaten with Pepe Mel and Juande Ramos having been contacted.

Inigo Martinez gave La Real an early lead only for Xisco to equalise with three minutes remaining.

“We’re annoyed we don’t get three points,” Arrasate said, Marca reports.

“That’s what happens when you’re on a negative run.

“We chose the last pass poorly and didn’t do well with the ball. We wanted the second goal but we weren’t good on the counter, and Cordoba changed things until they got that unfortunate moment.”
