Sevilla Coach Unai Emery believes the team’s home form will be crucial to reaching the next stage of the Europa League.
Los Rojiblancos drew 0-0 on Thursday night with Standard Liege and speaking after the match, Emery suggested it was a decent result when viewed in context of the others his team have recorded.
“Getting two points against Riejka and Liege isn’t the best but it isn’t the worst,” he said, AS reports.
“Now we need to be strong at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
“I think the team did a great job and were in control throughout most of the game but we didn’t have enough to win.
“When we lost control it’s true that they didn’t have enough to win either.”
