Brazil striker Neymar declared himself delighted with his personal performance in his country’s 4-0 friendly win over Japan.
The Barcelona player scored all four of Brazil’s goals as they ran out comfortable winners in front of 55,000 spectators in Singapore and said the feeling gave him ‘goosebumps’.
“It gave me goosebumps and it was a great thrill. I don’t know what my limits are,” he told reporters afterwards.
“I’m really happy to have realised this dream as I never imagined I’d do it with the national team.
“I feel very happy and I thank God for that,” declared Neymar, who also had words of praise for Brazil Coach Dunga and his advice before the start of the game.
“He told us the best way to show respect for our opponents is to go out and defeat them, which we did.
“I was looking to score goals, not for any individual success but to help my teammates and the Brazilian team,” he added.
