Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa has thrown his support behind the club’s reserve team boss Zinedine Zidane.
French legend Zidane has recently come under fire for being in charge of Real Madrid Castilla without possessing the necessary qualifications, with his side getting off to a disastrous start to the season.
After taking part in a training session under Zidane’s orders alongside Asier Illarramendi and Nacho, all of whom have been left out of Vicente del Bosque’s Spain squad for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers, experienced full-back Arbeloa described the former midfielder as a ‘genius’
“It’s a pleasure to work and learn from such a great Coach. Zizou, a genius!” he posted on his official Twitter account.
