Moi Gomez hopes to add more goals to his tally following his quick-fire double in Villarreal’s win over Celta Vigo.
Gomez scored two goals in as many minutes in the first half of the Yellow Submarine’s 3-1 victory against Celta and says he now has a taste for finding the net.
“In my life I’ve not scored twice in such a short time. It’s very hard to do,” he said, AS reports.
“They are my first goals in the Primera and I want more.
“The first goal I saw the referee raise his hand and thought he had disallowed it for something, but he said no, it’s a goal.
“For the second I just stole the ball and saw what I could do, adjusted, shot, and it went well.
“I’ve received calls of congratulations from many people. I want to thank the Coach for having confidence in me.
“He’s given me a lot of confidence and help and I’m glad I could pay that back on the pitch.”
