Sevilla Coach Unai Emery is expecting Sunday’s League opponents Cordoba to be a tougher opponent than Feyenoord were in the Europa League.
Los Rojiblancos beat the Dutch side 2-0 in midweek and at a Press conference to preview the domestic fixture, Emery predicted Cordoba will be harder to beat as they’re more in need of the points.
“Remember, the League is the main argument to measure our objectives and if we have done well or not,” Marca reports Emery as saying.
“Each game is unique and even though Cordoba were in the Segunda, they’re a hard team to beat. They compete very well with the same approach that saw them promoted.
“It will be very different than Feyenoord. They, by necessity, will have a resistance three times higher.”
