Joaquin Caparros was delighted with Granada’s draw against Villarreal as he rates the Yellow Submarine very highly.
Sunday’s game finished goalless at Caparros told reporters following the final whistle that the value of a point against Villarreal shouldn’t be underestimated.
“I’m very happy. We’ve drawn with a great team,” he said, according to AS.
“They are a very good team who had a lot of the ball.
“In the second half we were better and had the clearest chances of the match.
“We were better after we made changes and that means there is equality in the workforce and good people on the bench.
“The players know how to compete. We’ve not had 10 games together, not even a few months, but we’re very good and competitive.
“We have competed well against a team in Europe and one who will be high up the League.”
