Cesc Fabregas is sure his Chelsea teammate Diego Costa will eventually show his club form for Spain after another goalless game.
Costa played more than an hour of La Roja’s friendly defeat to France last night but having scored four goals in three games in the Premier League, struggled to make an impression.
AS reports Cesc speaking after the match, discussing the difference Costa is facing from club football to the international game.
“He needs to adapt, he’s just started here,” the midfielder said.
“He’s played in two teams, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea, where the style of play fit him like a glove.
“Here there’s more control, patience, not attacking with the same urgency, that adventure.
“But he has the ability, he is very committed and he’s a good kid and that’s the mentality you should have.”
