Alessio Cerci has completed his move from Torino to Atletico Madrid, signing a three-year deal.
The Italy international was rumoured to have become a Colchoneros player over the weekend, with Diego Simeone’s men beating off Inter and Arsenal to get the winger.
But this afternoon the champions have revealed that the wide man has passed a medical and put pen-to-paper on a contract until 2017.
“Atleti are an evolving team who always want to win,” he told their official website. “I’m very proud to be here.
“I delighted with the great responses I’ve had from fans. I hope this season is full of success.”
Cerci completes a new-look forward line for the capital club, joining Mario Mandzukic and Antoine Griezmann in attack.
