Goals from Paco Alcacer, Dani Parejo and Pablo Piatti ensured that Los Che came away with all three points.
And the Coach was delighted to have won their first match of the season.
“I think that we were the better team even before they had [Sergi Darder] sent off,” he told a Press conference.
“The game was divided in that sense, but I thought we controlled things well.
“I want to congratulate my players, but we have to keep working to adapt to my methods.
“It’ll take time but this is a good start.”
