Jagoba Arrasate believes Real Sociedad’s Europa League elimination against Krasnodar will make the team stronger.
La Real yesterday travelled to Russia with a 1-0 lead from the first leg but were beaten 3-0, sending the Basques out of European competition.
Krasnodar were awarded a penalty that drew the ire of Arrasate, who told reporters after the match that the spot kick was incorrectly given.
“The referee was the only one who has seen a penalty,” Marca reports the Coach as saying.
“We weren’t playing well but we were through.
“The result gives us a lot of sadness and anger. It’s a hard blow but it will make us stronger.”
