Martin Montoya has paid tribute to Barcelona Coach Luis Enrique and his right-back rival Dani Alves.
Marca reports Montoya as speaking to the Press prior to Barca’s friendly in Finland today and he was asked about his competition with Alves.
“I’m not a starter. Ahead of me I have the best right-back in the world,” he said of the Brazil international.
“[My goal is] to have more minutes than last year.”
Montoya was also asked about the appointment of Enrique and said that from what he has seen, club and Coach are well-matched.
“He is the perfect Coach for Barca because he conveys character, fight, sacrifice and ambition,” Montoya continued.
