Radamel Falcao could move to Real Madrid despite never having broached the subject, according to the player’s father.
Mundo Deportivo reports Radamel Garcia as telling Cadena Cope that while the striker is content at Monaco, it’s not guaranteed he remains.
“I don’t rule it out. I’m saying only that he has a contract with Monaco,” he said.
“My son has never told me he wants to leave Monaco, but he hasn’t talked about changing his environment. My son has a contract for four years and he is serving it.
“The project of Monaco started well and is doing very well. Thank God Falcao [has recovered from injury] and had his family around.”
Asked if he believes Falcao would be a regular in the Madrid team should he move to Santiago Bernabeu, the patriarch took a diplomatic stance.
“If my child ought to play or not would depend on Carlo Ancelotti,” he said.
