Monaco: Falcao is staying

Monaco’s Coach and Vice-President have both insisted reported Real Madrid target Radamel Falcao is going nowhere.

Speaking after the Emirates Cup win over Arsenal, Monaco VP Vadim Vasyliev also offered his thoughts on Madrid’s Diego Lopez, who has been heavily linked with a move to the principality – particularly now Madrid have signed Keylor Navas.

“Falcao will be in Monaco for the 2014-15 season,” AS quotes Vasyliev as saying.

“Danijel Subasic did incredible things against Arsenal so I don’t think goalkeeper is an issue…yes, Diego Lopez is a great goalkeeper, one of the best.”

Leandro Jardim, the Monaco Coach, added that in his opinion, Falcao is ‘un-transferable’ and ‘indispensable.’
