Madrid eye Falcao return

Real Madrid will have their eyes on Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium today, as Radamel Falcao looks to complete a comeback from injury.

Almost eight months after he tore his cruciate ligament for Monaco, the Colombia international is set to make his first appearance for the Ligue 1 outfit in a friendly against Valencia.

Leandro Jardim’s men are in London to play the Emirates Cup, with games against Los Che and The Gunners.

And AS, citing L’Equipe, report that the European champions are keen to see how the goalscorer will react after such a long period out of the game.

Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for the forward, but Carlo Ancelotti’s men will only table an offer if they deem Falcao to have recovered fully.
