Coke has signed a three-year contract extension with Sevilla, putting an end to rumours he would be sold this summer.
Marca reports that Marcelo Bielsa wanted the right-back at Marseille and had been in negotiations with Los Rojiblancos but no deal was reached.
Coke insisted all along that he wanted to stay at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and has now gotten his wish. With a year remaining on his previous deal, Coke is tied to Sevilla until 2018.
