Ronaldo fit and ready for new season

Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted he is over the knee injury that plagued his season last time out, and is ready for the upcoming campaign.

The Portugal international was in and out of the Blancos team towards the back end of 2013-14, and was also noticeably unfit during the World Cup.

But the Ballon d’Or winner claims he is now fully fit and focused on doing well again for the Santiago Bernabeu outfit.

“I'm really focused. My injury is gone. I feel very, very good,” he told reporters at an event in Tokyo.

“I really want to get going again and stay in good shape until the end of the season

“I would like to play six or seven more years at the top level of club competition.

“Last season was amazing. We now have the opportunity to win five or six titles in the new season, which is fantastic.

“I'll try my best the entire season like I do it every year. I'll try to be the best, try to help my team, try to score goals and try to win titles
