Atletico Madrid have moved to quash speculation they were negotiating with Chelsea for the return of Fernando Torres.
It was today claimed by Eurosport that Miguel Angel Gil Marin had been in London and spoke to the Blues about lowering the price for the former Atletico captain.
But Mundo Deportivo have reported that Atletico flatly denied any talks when asked, and while they are looking for a second striker signing, to go with Mario Mandzukic, it won’t be Torres.
