Sami Khedira’s proposed move from Real Madrid to Arsenal has been delayed as the Premier League side haven’t matched the midfielder’s wage demands.
Marca report that Khedira wants €7m net per season but the Gunners haven’t made an offer so high as yet, despite agreeing a €25m fee with Los Blancos.
Khedira has been offered a new Madrid contract, it’s claimed, but has yet to respond either way. His current deal expires next summer.
Madrid don’t went to sell Khedira, Marca say, but acknowledge it’s possible that the World Cup winner does leave Santiago Bernabeu before the new season.
