Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement with Porto over the transfer of striker Adrian, reports in Spain have said.
AS claim that Adrian has travelled to Portugal to undergo a medical prior to wrapping up a move worth around €11m, three years after moving to Vicente Calderon from Deportivo La Coruna.
Adrian was rarely a regular starter under Diego Simeone, AS add, with his best season at the club his best, prior to the departure of Gregorio Manzano.
The move is said by AS to be a further sign of the good relationship between the clubs after Atletico agreed to loan young midfielder Oliver Torres to Julen Lopetegui’s side.
