Alexis Sanchez has been in London this afternoon for a medical at Arsenal, according to widespread reports.
The Chilean international is said to have already agreed personal terms with the Gunners, while the Catalan giants have also accepted a bid of €37.7m for the player.
Though official confirmation of the move is still yet to be announced, the Camp Nou side’s website even briefly published a brief statement this morning saying a deal had been struck.
“Agreement with Arsenal for the transfer of Alexis Sanchez,” was the title of the article that was deleted shortly afterwards.
AS say that confirmation of the 25-year-old’s transfer could come as soon as this evening.
