Victor Valdes’ contract with Barcelona is due to expire today with the goalkeeper yet to confirm a move elsewhere.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Valdes’ deal comes to an end on June 30 and his next destination is still unknown.
Valdes announced well in advance that he wouldn’t sign a new contract at Camp Nou and was strongly linked with a move to Monaco.
But a serious knee injury in March threatened his rumoured deal with the Ligue 1 club, while Liverpool have emerged as potential suitors.
Valdes is expected to recover from his cruciate ligament tear by October.
