Marca cite a story from A Bola that says Porto Coach Julen Lopetegui wants Illarra to replace Fernando, who has joined Manchester City.
Lopetegui worked with Illarramendi during his days as Spain Under-21 Coach and it’s suggested that Illarra’s future lies away from Santiago Bernabeu, only a year after he moved to the capital from Real Sociedad.
