Ivan Rakitic will officially complete his move from Sevilla to Barcelona on Tuesday July 1, it has been confirmed.
The Croatia international has been at the World Cup with his home nation, but is back early after they crashed out at the group stages.
As such, the Blaugrana can get the wheels in motion for the deal to be complete next week, with the club confirming that the 26-year-old will touch down in Catalunya on Monday.
Rakitic will then spend a night in a hotel before travelling to Camp Nou on Tuesday to undergo a medical.
If that goes well, as it is expected it should, then the playmaker will put pen-to-paper soon after, and then be unveiled to the fans.
