Sevilla will turn to Liverpool forward Iago Aspas to replace Carlos Bacca if the Colombia striker leaves this summer.
AS report that Bacca is Atletico Madrid’s fall-back option if they can’t prise Alvaro Negredo away from Manchester City.
Atleti and City are far apart in their valuation of Negredo and so it’s thought Atletico will turn to Bacca instead.
If that happens then Sevilla are unlikely to have a problem getting Aspas out of Anfield as a replacement, but are unlikely to move for Aspas without the departure of Bacca or perhaps Kevin Gameiro.
AS also add that a potential move for Aspas has no relation to the Reds’ interest in left-back Alberto Moreno, which is a deal that is on the verge of collapse.
