Report: Falcao to join Real Madrid

Radamel Falcao has agreed terms with Real Madrid and will officially sign after the World Cup, according to reports.

BeIn Sports revealed overnight that the Colombia international has negotiated terms with the European champions, and will complete a move by mid-July.

The former Atletico Madrid striker left the Spanish capital last summer for Monaco, but has endured a difficult campaign, injuring the cruciate ligament in his knee in January and playing no further part in the season.

The station claims that Falcao was never happy on the French Riviera, and has rejected a number of offers in order to join Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool are all thought to have registered an interest, but the goalscorer only wanted Los Blancos.

Falcao still owns a house in Madrid, and is desperate to return to his second home.

This news would seemingly end speculation that Luis Suarez will leave Liverpool for Real Madrid.
