Jose Sosa is due to start pre-season training with Metalist Kharkiv next week and probably won’t return to Atletico Madrid.
The Argentine moved in January to Vicente Calderon on a six-month loan and with the price to make the switch permanent set at €10m, it’s reported by Marca that he will remain in Ukraine.
Sosa, the Metalist captain, made 20 appearances under Diego Simeone as Atleti claimed the League title and reached the Champions League final, but started only four times and didn’t get on the score sheet.
