Inter starlet Mateo Kovacic is the latest midfielder to be linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer.
Marca cite reports from Italy that say the 20-year-old Croatia international has been the subject of contact between the Madrid hierarchy and his agents, with a fee of between €20m and €25m mooted.
But it’s acknowledged that the reasons that have led Madrid to Kovacic are the same reasons Inter would be reluctant to sell.
Kovacic has been mentioned after the likes of Paul Pogba, Arturo Vidal and Ramires were also rumoured.
