Real Madrid are willing to pay Paris Saint-Germain €40m for Marco Verratti but the French club want Karim Benzema and Angel Di Maria instead.
AS cite reports from Italy that say Madrid have made Verratti a major target for the summer and are willing to spend big to get him.
Verratti would move to Santiago Bernabeu, it’s claimed, to again link up with Carlo Ancelotti, who originally took him to the French capital.
But PSG don’t want Madrid’s money – instead they’re only looking to swap Verratti for Benzema and Di Maria.
Madrid aren’t open to such a deal as Ancelotti considers both players to be too important to let go.
