Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has agreed to the request of Carlo Ancelotti to sign Chelsea midfielder Ramires.
Marca report that Ancelotti has specifically asked for Ramires and Perez has signed off on the suggestion, while the player would be willing to move to Santiago Bernabeu.
Perez is said to have initially been reluctant due to the likely cost, but has been convinced that if Ancelotti wants Ramires, he should deliver the signing as Ancelotti delivered La Decima.
But Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho would not want to lose the Brazil international and would stand in the way of his former club.
It was Ancelotti who took Ramires to Stamford Bridge and the Italian wants Ramires’ physicality to compliment the midfield he can already call on.
