Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are the latest club to express an interest in Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
AS cites reports from Germany that say Wolfsburg have been in touch with Los Blancos over the future of the cantera product, who is understood to be keen to leave Santiago Bernabeu.
Madrid have insisted that any deal to sign Morata includes a clause allowing them to re-sign the player in the future, in the manner of Dani Carvajal’s move to Bayer Leverkusen.
Joselu’s transfer to Hoffenheim also included such a stipulation and it has been rumoured he could return to the capital to replace Morata.
Juventus have been strongly linked with Morata but it’s said that Madrid’s insistence on the buy-back clause has scuppered the deal thus far.
