English media sources report that Diego Costa has passed a medical with Chelsea ahead of a move to Stamford Bridge.

The Guardian report that the Blues have already paid the €40m release clause in Costa’s Rojiblancos contract, meaning the path is now clear for the Spanish international to join Jose Mourinho’s team.
25-year-old Costa scored 27 goals in 35 La Liga appearances for Atletico this season as Diego Simeone’s side defied all the odds to be crowned Spanish champions.
However, he will now finalise a deal that will secure his transfer to the Premier League outfit.
