Barcelona have been watching former Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain and are mulling over an offer for the Napoli man.
Mundo Deportivo claim Higuain fits the profile of the kind of forward that Barca want to sign this summer but while the Argentina international is on the list, he’s not high on it.
Higuain moved to Italy last summer, leaving Madrid after five-and-a-half years at the club. He cost Napoli €40m and has a contract until 2018.
It’s felt that Higuain would allow new Coach Luis Enrique to alter the team’s formation, and his relationship with Lionel Messi from the national team is also a factor.
Fernando Llorente, Juventus’ former Athletic Bilbao striker, is also said to have come under consideration from La Blaugrana.
