Unai Emery has claimed that Sevilla fans can ‘rest easy’ after he revealed that he wants to sit down and discuss a new deal.
The Rojiblancos boss has been heavily linked with replacing Clarence Seedorf at Milan, but the tactician has insisted that he is happy at Ramon Snachez Pizjuan – and would like to pen an extension.
“The season is over and now is the time to rest,” he told the club’s official website.
“We are happy with what we did this season and are happy to have shown the type of football the fans deserve.
“I’ve agreed with the President to sit down and talk about a renewal on Wednesday.
“I am very happy here – I’ve always said that. The fans can rest easy.”
