Chelsea defender David Luiz is expected to complete a move to Paris Saint-Germain, having been reported as a target for Barcelona.
The BBC claim the French champions will pay £40m (€50m) for the Brazil international, making Luiz the most expensive defender in world football.
Luiz’s compatriot Thiago Silva currently holds that record following his move from Milan to PSG in 2012.
Barca had been mentioned in connection with Luiz in recent months but the 27-year-old is due to complete the move to Ligue 1 in the near future.
PSG confirmed the deal in a brief statement. Luiz moved to Chelsea in January 2011, having previously played for Benfica.
