Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa has described reports claiming he has already agreed a move to Chelsea as ‘stupid.’
The 25-year-old has been in sensational form for the Rojiblancos this season, helping them to the cusp of a historic La Liga and Champions League double.
However, reports in the English media yesterday said a €39m deal had already been completed for the striker to join Jose Mourinho’s Blues in the summer.
“People say a lot of stupid things,” Costa is quoted as saying by Marca when asked about the rumours outside Atleti’s training ground this morning, as he stopped to sign autographs for fans.
