Valdes says his Barca goodbyes

Victor Valdes has said his goodbyes to the Barcelona squad, with the goalkeeper set to leave the club over the summer.

The Spain international injured his cruciate ligament in March against Celta Vigo, and will certainly be out for the foreseeable future.

With his contract expiring in the summer, it means the shot-stopper has played his last game for the club, with a move to Monaco set for next term.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Valdes gathered his belongings from the Blaugrana’s training ground on Monday and said a proper farewell to everyone.

The No.1 is now going to Germany to start the second part of his rehabilitation.
