Real Madrid icon Raul could be about to move to the New York Cosomos, reports in Spain have claimed.
Raul currently plays for Al Sadd of Qatar and is said by AS to have been considering retirement to work as a coach, but first will take in a spell in the United States.
The Cosmos play in the North American Soccer League, the Division below MLS, and in the past have boasted names such as Pele and Franz Beckenbauer.
Euro 2008 winner Marcos Senna is currently at the club while New York Red Bulls, who play in the top flight, have the likes of former Barca pair Thierry Henry and Rafael Marquez in their squad.
