Xavi Hernandez has admitted Barcelona were in no condition to play so soon following the death of Tito Vilanova.
Vilanova passed away on Friday, with Barca playing and beating Villarreal on Sunday, coming from two goals down to win 3-2.
AS reports that after the match Xavi, confirmed that their former Coach was on the minds of all of the players.
“It’s one of the hardest days to have played. The body was wrong,” the midfielder said.
“We have lost a leader of Barcelona. He will always be an example.
“We’ve discarded pride and race to win. It is dedicated to Tito.
“It was our honour. We wanted to dedicate it to his family.”
