Monaco forward Radamel Falcao says he is very happy for his former side Atletico Madrid for the season they are having.
The Colombian left the Vicente Calderon last summer in order to sign for the big spending Ligue 1 outfit.
“I don’t have any envy of Atletico,” Falcao told Mundo Deportivo. “I feel mostly very happy for what is happening at the club.
“I made some great friendships and had some important moments while I was there.
“It’s life, in the life of a footballer you have changes and you can’t have everything.
“I am very happy for what they are doing and I want the best for them.
“Would I have advice for them against Chelsea? No, I wouldn’t say anything. I only hope they enjoy it.
“They must already know what to do, they must already be thinking about how to combat Chelsea.
“I think Monaco have a very ambitious project and it’s normal for us to be linked with names like Mario Balotelli.
“I’m very happy and I like it here. At the moment I’m just thinking about recovering. Hopefully I can be back very soon.”
