Zidane to leave Madrid in the summer

Zinedine Zidane will leave Real Madrid this summer as he looks to take his first steps into management.

The former Blancos midfielder is currently part of Carlo Ancelotti’s coaching staff, alongside Englishman Paul Clement.

But Marca have claimed that the World Cup-winner will leave Santiago Bernabeu at the end of this season looking for his first role as head Coach.

Monaco is one of the clubs thought to be interested in his services, but the door hasn’t been shut in the Spanish capital.

President Florentino Perez likes the idea of having Zidane in charge of the first team at some point, but feels it is too early to give him the job, having no experience.
