Chelsea Coach Jose Mourinho has expressed his sadness at the news of Tito Vilanova’s death.
The 45-year-old passed away this afternoon after losing his battle with gland cancer.
“Tito Vilanova’s passing is a sad day for football, for Barcelona and most importantly his family and friends,” Mourinho said via Chelsea’s official Twitter feed.
“On behalf of everybody at Chelsea Football Club I send my deepest condolences at this most difficult time.”
