Rumours that Mauro Icardi could move to Atletico or Real Madrid in the summer are ‘inevitable’, his agent has claimed.
The Inter striker has been heavily linked with a switch to the Spanish capital at the end of the season, with both clubs thought to be interested.
The Rojiblancos see the Nerazzurri youngster as a potential replacement for Diego Costa, whilst Los Blancos could strike a deal with the San Siro outfit that will see Alvaro Morata go the other way.
The 21-year-old’s representative however, has refused to comment directly on those stories, but admits that big clubs will always go for the best players.
“We are at a moment in the season when it is inappropriate to talk about operations in the transfer market,” Albian Morano has told Fichajes.com this week.
“Mauro is totally focused on the field and will continue to grow under the command of Walter Mazzarri.
“All these stories are inevitable, Icardi has a bright future ahead of him.”
