Marcelino believes Villarreal are well-placed to end the season strongly after an important win over Levante last weekend.
The Yellow Submarine play Malaga tonight and according to Marca, the Coach has pointed to the win over Les Granotes as particularly crucial.
“After winning everything looks better. We needed to win at home and since we did, things look much better,” Marcelino said.
“We had been on a good run but we needed a home win and we got it.
“Malaga did have many injuries but in the second round of games they have recovered players and made attacking signings and I believe they have greatly improved.
“Roque Santa Cruz is a major player for their team and they have a high level of quality. Things aren’t going to get any easier.”
